Ueno is famous for its tourist and cultural attractions, including Ueno Zoo, Ueno Park (Ueno Onshi Park), and Ameya-Yokocho (Ameyoko) shopping street.
Ueno Station has long been regarded as the gateway to the Tohoku region and is one of Tokyo’s major stations.
